Swedish customs seize a lot of narcotics (and other drugs), alcohol and tobacco at border crossings throughout the country. The smaller seizures are usually for private consumption.
The biggest seizures are made at the southern Swedish borders, for instance at Öresundsbron that connects Sweden to Denmark and the rest of Europe. Many seizures are also made in the Stockholm region where narcotics, as well as large amounts of alcohol and cigarettes, are smuggled into the country.
